'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane reduces on Premier League return

Kane celebrates his 100th goal for Bayern Munich

Harry Kane has declared that his interest in coming back to the Premier League has lessened and he is prepared to negotiate a new deal with Bayern Munich.

The prolific striker is at the moment midway through the four-year agreement he inked when transferring to from Tottenham Hotspur for a substantial fee in the summer of 2023.

The experienced forward has scored an outstanding 103 goals in 106 matches for the German club, contributing them win the 2024-25 Bundesliga title - which marked the initial significant honor of his illustrious career.

Tottenham boss Thomas Frank has recently expressed that he would be pleased to see Kane come back to England, where he needs 48 goals to overtake Alan Shearer's record Premier League scoring milestone of 260.

However, the England leader has now suggested that he is no longer as enthusiastic about coming back home as he earlier was, and would certainly consider prolonging his tenure in Bavaria.

"In terms of staying longer, I could definitely see that," he stated.

"I mentioned openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those talks with Bayern yet, but if they were to arise I would be prepared to talk and have an honest conversation.

"Obviously it relies on how the next year or so goes and what we attain together. Right now, I would say we are in a fantastic moment and I am not focusing about anything else.

"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had asked me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.

"Now I have been there a couple of years I would probably say that has gone down a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.

"What I have discovered in my career is that different chances and different periods happen and things align. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am totally all in with Bayern."

Milestone Achievements and Future Ambitions

Kane is the all-time top marksman for both Tottenham and England and recently became the quickest player this century to achieve 100 goals for a club participating in one of Europe's top five competitions, securing the milestone in just 104 games for Bayern.

However, a title had escaped him until he won the German title last season.

Kane reveals that he was not sure how he would respond after breaking his trophy barren spell, but now feels it has made him motivated for more success.

"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be tempting to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he added.

"But it's given me more drive to do more and be better. I think I've shown that this year.

"I was curious in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to accomplish in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.

"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.

"But for sure, I pushed myself the other way in terms of being even better, maintaining even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
